Transliteration:Saurāshtre Somnātham cha Shrīshaile Mallikārjunam,Ujjayinyām Mahākālam Omkāram Mamaleshwaram.


Hindi Translation:सौराष्ट्र में सोमनाथ और श्रीशैल पर मल्लिकार्जुन,उज्जैन में महाकाल और ममलेश्वर में ओंकार।


English Translation:In Saurashtra, Somnath, and on Shrīshaila, Mallikarjuna,In Ujjain, Mahakala, and in Mamaleshwar, Omkara.


Explanation: This verse introduces the first four Jyotirlingas: Somnath in Saurashtra (Gujarat), Mallikarjuna in Shrīshaila (Andhra Pradesh), Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), and Omkareshwar in Mamaleshwar (Madhya Pradesh). Transliteration:Kedāram Himavatprishṭhe Dākinyām Bhīmashankaram,Vārānasyām Vishwanātham Tryambakam Gautamītaṭe.


Hindi Translation:हिमालय के पीछे केदार और डाकिनी में भीमशंकर,वाराणसी में विश्वनाथ और गौतमी तट पर त्र्यंबक।


English Translation:Kedar in the Himalayas and Bhimashankar in Dākini,Vishwanath in Varanasi and Tryambaka on Gautami’s banks.


Explanation: This verse mentions four more Jyotirlingas: Kedarnath in the Himalayas (Uttarakhand), Bhimashankar in Dākini (Maharashtra), Vishwanath in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), and Trimbakeshwar on the banks of the Godavari (Gautami) in Maharashtra. Sanskrit:वैद्यनाथं चिताभूमौ नागेशं दारुकावने।सेतुबन्धे तु रामेशं घृष्णेशं च शिवालये॥


Transliteration:Vaidyanātham Chitābhūmau Nāgesham Dārukāvane,Setubandhe tu Rāmesham Ghrishṇesham cha Shivālaye.


Hindi Translation:चिताभूमि में वैद्यनाथ और दारुका वन में नागेश,सेतुबंध में रामेश और शिवालय में घृष्णेश।


English Translation:Vaidyanath in Chitabhumi and Nagesh in Daruka forest,Ramesh at Setubandh and Ghrishnesh in Shivalaya.

Transliteration:Dvādashetatjyotirlingam Paṭhennityam Yaḥ Smaret,Sa Sarvam Labhate Saukhyam Pāpam Nashyati Tatkshhaṇāt.


Hindi Translation:जो प्रतिदिन इन बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों का पाठ और स्मरण करता है,वह सुख प्राप्त करता है और उसके पाप तुरंत नष्ट हो जाते हैं।


English Translation:One who daily recites and remembers these twelve Jyotirlingas,Gains all happiness, and their sins are instantly destroyed.
